GEORGINA SPRY

Felt artist. Creator. Maker. Teacher

Since 2000, I’ve been experimenting and developing my felting skills and processes. It has been, and still is, a remarkable journey filled with an abundance of wonderfully skilful and generous felty people.
I find inspiration everywhere I look, and that inevitably filters down into my work. The feltworks represent a personal journey through breast cancer and the diagnosis of secondary cancer as part of a doctoral thesis.
Reach out for additional info regarding my process.

“The Hushed Reverberations of these associated feelings continue in the brain, and by modifying our present reaction, colour the image upon which our attention is fixed. The quality thus acquired by objects through association is what we call their expression."

Santayana, 1896, p.48
